On Wednesday, Oct. 26, pro-life students at Northern Kentucky University discovered that their display of crosses representing babies lost to abortion had been destroyed, the student newspaper The Northerner reports.Cecilia Knox, vice president of Northern Right to Life, said the club members put up 260 white crosses in the grass beside the Student Union Plaza and signs that read, “Each cross represents 10 babies that die by abortion each day.”Knox said her friend Michael Bailey was the one who called to tell her that the display had been vandalized.“First he sent me a picture of the crosses, and they were all knocked down and the signs were gone,” Knox said. “He said ‘Oh, I’m so sorry this happened. My friend and I put the signs back, but I’ll come meet you, where are you? I have the big sign that they tore.’”Bailey told the newspaper that he tried to fix the display after he noticed the vandalism, and Knox added that they had worked very hard to put up the display.
