In Canada, Cassandra Kaake was found bludgeoned to death in a burned-out residence on Benjamin Road on Dec. 11, 2014. Her murder is a tragedy, but she wasn’t the only one who lost a life that night. Her 7-month-old unborn baby girl Molly was killed in the attack too.
Yet, Canadian law says Molly didn’t die that tragic day. The killer will only be held accountable for Cassandra’s death and not charged with any crime at all for killing a baby who was just weeks away from birth.
